We have invited Prof. Yuen-Ron Shen (UC Berkeley) to give a tutorial lecture on SFG spectroscopy .

Prof. Shen is founding pioneers of nonlinear optics and interfacial spectroscopy, with a long and distinguished career dating back to the early 1970s. He has made fundamental contributions to both theory and experiment, and published the highly regarded textbook The Principles of Nonlinear Optics (1984), which remains widely read today.

At 90 years of age, Prof. Shen remains remarkably active, regularly attending international conferences and engaging with university research groups. (In the Okazaki Conference, he also gave a 60-minute plenary lecture!)
In this tutorial lecture, Prof. Shen will share insights and messages especially meaningful for early-career researchers. So, I strongly encourage researchers interested in nonlinear spectroscopy to attend his lecture.
